The 3rd September has a special significance for me: it was my parents' wedding anniversary. As a family we celebrated the day every year so that even now, now they are no longer here, each time it rolls by it brings a little tear to my eye. They never tired of reminding each other that it was the same day World War II broke out, although not the same year. And since my mother was a Scorpio with the sun conjunct Mars rising to a Scorpio Ascendant and my father had his moon in Leo and Mars in Taurus it was no surprise their marriage often resembled a war of attrition. Not surprising either that they decided to call their only daughter, Penelope, not after the Penelope who waited on the seashore for her beloved Ulysses but the British battleship, HMS Penelope.
